Eagle Eye Networks is a Brivo company — what does that mean in practice?

Brivo is a market-leading cloud access control platform, and Eagle Eye Networks is part of the same group. The two products are being brought together into a single unified security platform. Clients who invest in Eagle Eye now will be able to add fully integrated access control through Brivo without a system replacement when that integration launches.

What is Eeva and how does the smart alerting work?

Eeva is Eagle Eye's AI engine that converts plain-text instructions into live monitoring rules. You type a natural language command such as 'notify me if anyone is near the pool alone' or 'alert me if the bin overflows', and Eeva creates the alert automatically. No configuration menus or technical setup is required.

Can Eagle Eye Networks work with cameras we already have installed?

Yes. Eagle Eye supports a broad range of IP cameras from many manufacturers, and the AI features including smart search and Eeva alerting work with your existing hardware. You do not need to replace your camera estate to gain full AI capability.

Is Eagle Eye Networks GDPR compliant?

Yes. Eagle Eye Networks includes full audit trails covering all access events, footage review, and footage exports. These are built into the platform and support your GDPR obligations without additional configuration or third-party tools.

Can Eagle Eye Networks work at remote or off-grid sites?

Yes. Eagle Eye supports remote deployment using solar and battery power sources, making it suitable for sites without mains infrastructure such as energy facilities, battery farms, agricultural sites, and remote yards. Your Centurion engineer will design the right setup for the site conditions.

How is Eagle Eye Networks different from a DVR or NVR system?

DVRs and NVRs store footage locally on hardware that requires physical space, power, cooling, and periodic replacement. On-site hardware can also be tampered with or destroyed. Eagle Eye Networks has no on-site recording hardware, receives continuous updates with no end-of-life point, and stores footage offsite where it cannot be interfered with.

How does Centurion support an Eagle Eye Networks installation after go-live?

Centurion provides ongoing support after installation, including camera health monitoring, fault resolution, Eeva alert reviews, and system assessments as your requirements change. We also advise on expanding camera estates, adjusting retention settings, and preparing for the Brivo access control integration.
