What it covers

Our registered scope covers the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems for non-domestic premises.

How it is assessed

A BAFE-licensed, UKAS-accredited certification body audits the modules we hold. Our registration remains valid only while we maintain that third-party certification.

What this means for you

This shows that our competence for the specified fire alarm work has been independently assessed. Our registration is module-specific, so it should be checked against the work you need.

NSI Gold

We are NSI Gold approved for the installation and maintenance of fire, CCTV, intruder and access systems.

What it covers

Our approval covers CCTV, intruder and access control systems under NACOSS Gold, together with fire alarm work under Fire Gold.

How it is assessed

NSI regularly audits our technical work and quality management against its Gold scheme requirements, including BS EN ISO 9001 and the NSI quality schedule.

What this means for you

This means our design, installation and maintenance processes are checked regularly. We can provide scheme certificates of compliance for qualifying installations.

Quality Management Systems

Our ISO 9001 certification applies to the quality management system we use to plan, deliver and review our services. It does not certify every product or installation.

What it covers

Our certification covers the processes we use to plan, deliver, review and continually improve our services, including competence, documented information and operational control.

How it is assessed

An independent certification body assesses our quality management system against ISO 9001 requirements for leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement. ISO sets the standard but does not issue certificates.

What this means for you

We document our service processes, review them regularly and record improvements. Technical standards and certificates still apply separately to individual projects.

Cyber Essentials

We hold Cyber Essentials certification, the UK government-backed scheme designed to protect against common cyber attacks. It is a verified self-assessment, not continuous security monitoring.

What it covers

Our assessment covers five controls across the IT systems in scope: firewalls, secure configuration, security update management, user access control and malware protection.

How it is assessed

We define the systems in scope and complete the assessment. A certification body checks our answers against the current Cyber Essentials requirements. Hands-on technical testing is part of Cyber Essentials Plus, not the standard certification.

What this means for you

This shows that we use baseline controls to reduce our exposure to common internet-based attacks. No certification can guarantee protection against every cyber threat.

Fire Industry Association Membership

Through our FIA membership, we stay connected with technical guidance, training and developments across the UK fire protection industry. It is membership, not third-party certification.

What it covers

Our membership gives us access to fire industry guidance, professional development, training, working groups and updates on standards and regulation.

How it is assessed

The FIA is a not-for-profit trade association. Our membership is not independent certification of a particular installation or engineer.

What this means for you

Our membership helps us keep our advice and working practices current. For individual projects, the relevant certifications remain the evidence of competence.
